Speed up boot time: 1: type msconfig in search box. 2: disable unnecessary startup item. 3: use default windows 7 logon screen 4: disable UCA Speed up shutdown time: 1: Run 'Ultimate Windows Tweaker' as administartor  - Go to System Performance tab :     a. Waiting time to end services at shutdown process : 2000 ms     b. Waiting time to kill non-responding applications : 2000ms     c.
